Animation holistique (Whole Person Process Facilitation)

* fructueuses, efficaces et très productives
* permettant à des équipes d’émerger et au leadership de se manifester
* propices à la communication et à l’apprentissage
* bonnes pour le moral

* de cultiver globalement le potentiel des individus et de l’organisation;

* de préparer et d’animer des réunions de deux heures à plusieurs jours au gré d’un ordre du jour établi cependant très ouvert à l’émergence de solutions créatives;

* de mobiliser les intelligences et les styles d’apprentissage multiples des participants;

* d’assurer la santé à long terme de l’organisation;

* d’accroître la faculté des organisations de composer et de prospérer avec le changement;

*de faire œuvre utile avec l’information, le savoir et la sagesse émanant d’au-delà des cinq sens.

Soutien et mentorat sont offerts à tous les participants après la formation par l’entremise d’un réseau international de consultants.

Next Workshop in Val-David, QC, Canada - March 5-6, 2009

Session 3 of the Genuine Contact Program:
Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution

The one constant in life is change. Today, all organizations and the people within them are experiencing more rapid change than ever before. And hand in hand with change is the certainty of conflict. Conflict uses up individual and organizational energy, taking this energy away from constructive and productive work.

We invite you to a workshop to learn simple and highly effective methods for working with people in situations of conflict. The workshop focuses on the readiness of the facilitator to work with situations of conflict with groups. The personal preparation of the facilitator is essential. The workshop provides guidance in personal preparation as well as providing the facilitator with skills and a framework for conflict resolution. This framework for conflict resolution in groups is based on universal cross cultural practices for conflict resolution.

People engaged in conflict are usually fixed in one perspective. They rarely ask each other genuine questions. They also tend to lose contact with whole selves, rendering voiceless a part of themselves and they are unable to participate fully and effectively in efforts to resolve the conflict.

This workshop is based on the work of anthropologist Angeles Arrien, author Harrison Owen, and knowledge of the I CHING (the Chinese book of change). The program covers the three energies (dynamic, magnetic, integrated), the four principles of Open Space Technology, the art of detachment, and the six stages of problem solving.

You will leave this experiential, interactive workshop equipped with:
• A practical, holistic process through which you will lead meetings for conflict resolution
• A practical, holistic way of preparing the individuals to be involved with the conflict resolution meeting
• A practical, holistic way of preparing yourself to facilitate successful meetings
• The skills and knowledge to recognize when conflict resolution won't work and other means need to be employed

If your particular concern is conflict resolution, we recommend learning to use Open Space Technology, Whole Person Process Facilitation, and the Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution meeting methodology and skills. All three are exceptionally successful in resolving conflict and finding solutions including agreement to implement the solutions. These three skill sets will provide you with a “toolbox” for working with any situations of conflict.

Length: 2 days
Pre-requisites: None
(Note: While there are no pre-requisites, we find that combining this workshop with the Open Space Technology & Whole Person Process Facilitation trainings provides you with a exceptionally effective “toolbox” for working with any situations of conflict).

Living from your Heart

The current time is the best time ever to improve ourselves and to raise the vibration of global awareness. Our planet is a planet of emotions and is destined to become the most demonstrative example of love-based living for the rest of the universe. This means that the people on Earth must learn to live from their heart. Love is and will be the most effective way of achieving anything, from physical health to abundance and spiritual wisdom. This also means that the days of fear-dominated methods of success are numbered.

Whole Person Process Facilitation: Val-David

Bonjour tout le monde from Val David Quebec. Marquis Bureau and I are in the second day of our WPPF workshop, the first time we have offered it in French. We have a group of 10 participants in a beautiful setting here at Prema Shanti.
Our first day was very rich. Marquis and I had a detailed facilitation plan that we co created with Donna Clark and Rachel Assuncao...and of course as usual, the plan has not evolved at all as we thought it might....and yet the group has gone very deep with their learning already. In reflection, nearly all the content we wanted to cover was covered and discovered by the group through their questions, reflections, and contributions. We got to the Agenda part of the workshop after lunch, which gives you an indication of the rich discussion that happened about the Transfer in and Hopes and Fears.....
We talked about the four levels of consciousness and the whole person and right brain left brain in debreifing.
Our participants are great fun and full of energy. Many of them are consultants...and I am most proud to have our (to be clear..our being my husband Mike and I - Not Marquis and I) eldest daughter Jodie as a participant. Jodie has just taken a leadership role in her work in an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team and she will be taking this back to apply in her work. Like Birgitt in Virginia Beach, I am a proud mother. Some of them are artists and the rest artists at heart....so the small group offerings are very creative.

We had about 10cm of snow last night, so the vista outside the meeting room is beautiful - trees heavy with snow and everything is white. A contrast to the fire, warmth and ambiance of the facility and the group.

There are many learnings for Marquis and I - our first time working together and for me I am working in French, which is my second language...and I function at an intermediate level....so yesterday I was reflecting on my deeper appreciation of those who come to our mentoring circles from other countries and who have English as a second or third language. I am exhausted each day with listening and appreciative of the group who encourage me to continue in French. Je parle mieux maintenant.

Well it is time for the small groups to gather.
Will write more later.
Michelle
